To change the amount of time it takes for the machine to enter the Low Power Mode (the default settings is 15 minutes):
      1. Hit (Additional Functions) -> [Timer Settings] -> (down arrow) -> [Low Power Mode Time].

      * The Low Power Mode Time settings are 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 minutes, 1 hour, 90 minutes, 2, 3, or 4 hours.
      3. Press [Done]. The specified mode is set, and the display returns to the Basic Features screen.
When i open my canon ir105+ in browser(e.g moxilla firefox) and go to Error Mesages it says me like this :
      Fixing Unit Error.
      Check the fixing unit.

have u walked over to printer yo see what is going on ??

        error_button..JPG

exactly what does it says on machine / check machine error log/
is printer showing an error/ or message on panel

Check to see if the fixing temperature is increasing in service mode; COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG>FIX-C and FIX-E. If the fixing temperature is not increasing, check the duplex connector, both on the duplex unit as well as the rear of the copier. Assure there is no damage, or paper caught in the connectors.

Hey Teckat, do you know if a "cleaning web low" message would show on the RUI as Web Low, or possibly give that general message, "Check the fixing unit", causing the operator to actually walk over to the copier to read the message panel in the bottom of the screen? That is all I can think of...

In RUI under Additional Functions/ System>I believe in Edit u can check/un-check something called Status display/ also there is an Enable PoP UP Window/ someone may have entered a message in there for "check fixing unit"

Have not heard of a fixing message prompt/ a web message prompt, may under device settings in certain models

                    The copier is working?

I think MrFixit had the correct answer. The web counter needs reset.

Service mode, Copier-> Counter->Misc-> Web, highlight web and hit Clear key on control panel.

After that you may need to clear the message board also, Additional Functions-> System Settings-> Clear Message Board.

If the web is done there would be a E005.

absolutely right, screw, but i would suggest to replace it before the e005 appears, thereby leaving the mashine useless until a technician shows up. I and You (i am sure) know murphy, and critical calls always appear friday afternoon, ruining your start in the weekend , so, if in doubt, replace it, its only 15 euros (12 dollars, i think) and avoid trouble.

I just searched for Fixin Unit Error in Service Manual, but there is nothing about this.
As you say, this can be connected with Fixing Web is Low.
I will change Fixing Web and i'll show you the results.
I can buy Cleaning Web for only 30 Euro here in Albania and by the way,i need to buy parts and toners for Canon,Ricoh and Toshiba in Europe cheaper than i really buy here in Albania.
Who can help me with this
