When you add to N bootrom ,what you need is add another sd ram 256 to total 512 MB.

Enter service mode to check the amount of RAM recognized by the machine.

      COPIER>DISPLAY>ACC-STS>RAM

The machine should display 512MB of RAM installed.

      imageRUNNER 3570 SKV00001 ~ SKV62419

For manufacturing convenience, the DIMM configuration has been changed from using 2x256MB memory
DIMMs (WA73296-000) to 1x512 MB memory DIMM (WA7-4625-000).

When replacing a DIMM, use (Qty 1) 512MB DIMM or (Qty 2) 256MB DIMM. The 256MB DIMM will
      continue to be supplied.

Be careful not to install a 512MB DIMM into a machine with 512MB already installed. Adding 128MB,
256MB, or 512MB DIMM into the additional open slot will render the machine inoperative.

The 512MB DIMM can be mounted on either of the slots.
The additional 256 Memory DIMM is no longer provided in the Multi-PDL Printer Kit.

Add another piece of 256MB RAM will solve the problem

The E744-3030 -- can be caused by an insufficient or damaged RAM installed in the machine. Enter service mode to check the amount of RAM recognized by the machine.

The machine should display 512MB of RAM installed.

*NOTE Some machines will have 2x256MB SDRAM DIMMs installed and some will have 1x512MB SDRAM DIMM installed.

when I installed bootrom ver 03.30C, the machine is OK, the 2 x 256MB of RAM are good, but the 2 version of bootrom cannot be used. The machine cannot booting at all.

The Boot Rom slot on the Main Controller is the same size as the DCON Dimm slot on the DC Controller. Hastily replacing this chip without confirming the correct slot will damage the chip. NOTE: If you are installing a network boot rom and it is damaged, you will need to contact the TSC for the replacement procedure.
