I believe this is a fan error.
Maybe its faulty or check the connector.

      Is this a GP605 variant model? ( IR550 not available here )

If so E823 is a fault with the Pre-Transfer charging assembly FAN. Which goes back to connector J504 on the DC Controller.
      Yes, I am a nerd.
Gaming PC - check. Raspberry Pi - Check. Custom ROM on phone - check. Thick glasses - check.

E823 Pre-transfer charging assembly fan FM10, as already pointed out by CanonSco

When did this error code comes on?Is it after you service/ take out the processing/drum assembly? If it is ,check the connector of the Fan(FM10), might be the connector is not connected. If the machine is ok all this while, out of sudden the error code show, it could be the DC controller is faulty as CanonSco had earlier mentioned.

the machine was totally out of order and it was not turned on because of the lamp carriage problem when i reached, immediately, i opened all the cover in front, the console panel, the platen glass and the hopper..after i had fixed the lamp carriage, i put back all things. when i turn it on, the error code appeared..
i guess i haven't put back one of the connector...thank you Alan...and all the above
