    iRC3220 Double sided solution

Hi, I have a customer that uses headed paper. The iRC copies side 'A' first on single sided copying and copies on side 'B' first when duplexing.

The customer is not prepared to change the paper over each time they change from simplex to duplex.

    Does anyone have any solution?

I have offered a solution which is to set up a profile that uses reverse print and all the custome needs to ensure is that all documents are even numbered. This can be done by adding a blank page in odd numbered docs.

The customer also finds this unacceptable if there is an easier option.

Can you change the print Face up/down settings for duplexing that should resolve the issue if the driver has that option.

Hi BMX, I looked for some such settings.....hoped for such settings, But could not find any. I have tried PS, PCL and UFR drivers.

You can always set up one paper tray for single sided and one tray for duplex and the customer just selects the correct tray in the print driver - make sure to turn off APS/ADS. If they only have two drawers you can easily add a cassette pedestal with two more drawers.

Setup a driver profile for letterhead and set the default for duplex. Then whenever they run the letterhead it will always duplex even if it is just 1 page. The only downside is it will double click the meter on 1 page letterhead.
