            To understand Canon units,your best bet is to First post for machine manuals that you need in the > MANUAL FORUM on this site, good luck in your search

            http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/se...nual-requests/

            You do not need Firmware if machine is working, Firmware updates are used only when machine has issues. Firmware for HDD errors is another issue.

            You also need the Canon SST ( SERVICE SUPPORT TOOL ) to install firmware on it's products, and a understanding of how and when to use this tool on the different Canon models. All Canon units are not the same when it comes to using Firmware.

                @harsh.

                If you import 40, 50 units, your telling us you can't get the manual!

                    I believe his story, just an entrepreneur trying to make something of himself. But buying the equipment is only half the process, he will need to invest in the tools that will allow him to service the copiers as well.

                              that's all great information. But if you read my post above about Canon Firmware & Canon SST, you will see it is not easy to apply or learn from books/all Canon series/machines are different. You do not need to Format the HDD to Network a machine.
