      Where do u think the Motherboard gets it's power from ???

      how can u see or time the ITB belt/Drum & Pickup all at once/ on a 3100 ???
      who cares if machine has no errors or jams-
      if this is a true CQ timing
      issue/ post some test prints/ & copies or sell your machines for scrap

        A very good machine?,?,?, I beg to differ, it is a poor excuse for a color copier, as is the 6800 family.

          I think Canon makes the best copiers out there but the 3100 gets my vote as the worst Canon I've worked on. 6800 is a close second. The 60hz vs 50hz sounds dead on, good call Costd.
          I remember the 1st time I did a developer change on a 3100, I couldn't believe how hard it was to turn them by hand. It just didn't seem normal, even new developer units were very hard to turn by hand. I've found it just eats through those developer clutches. They are high maintenance copiers. Changing them reminds me of the days of taking out the duplex unit on a np7550.

            We bought 50 IR3100cn and we sold for scrap 30 pieces.

            Motherboards here in Albania get power from air,fresh air :P
