IRC 3220 Printing no function

After uninstalling the c1

I have installed the network multi pdl printer card FH1-3472 and changed the copier option setting " copier >option>INT-FACE>IMG CONT To 0 "
After that I can input the IP address, subnet mask and gateway address and ping OK
We trun off and on the machine.
But no document printed out and no green signal light flashing on pocessing / data indicator
would you please tell me how can I solve the problem. I have compared the setting with othes same model machine, but nothing found out. I use IRC3220 PCL5c driver, workable on IRC 3200 or IRC 3220 .

Another question is if these model directly connected with Mac PC by using Mac printer driver download from Canon Support.

go to counter check and push device configuration go to page 2. Do you see UFR/PCL/PS listed. If not you do not have the correct boot rom.

As this is the first time to fix this problem.I think there are no boot rom inside the machine as I only install the UFR PCB of which is taken from other damaged same model machine. and I don.t know it has boot rom with the UFR pcb kit. Where is the location of the related boot rom inside the machine.

it goes on Main Controller pcb/ sits in a vertical position

Find that bootrom. Check and make sure its a N boot after you install it. You can check this out in service mode.

The problem is solved. The main reason is related to different boot rom. After replacing boot rom from C To N. Then it can support network print.

Could FH1-3472 also support network scan function , if it can , how can we active its function.

I'm almost positive that scanning which you use with Color Network Scangear is standard with all Color imageRUNNER C3220/C2620 print controller kit options.

What is not standard with those print controllers is Universal Send which includes the ability to send scanned documents as e-mail attachments, send scanned documents as Internet fax (I-fax) messages, send scanned documents to databases and file servers for storage, and send scanned documents to a Mailbox for sharing, printing or sending at a later time.

If your machine has scanning capability you must install the network scangear driver and use scangear tool to configure it and of course-you need a twain compliant program to scan to.

If that display shows send-you have a much better configuration. The universal send feature - you can set it up to handle scanning and much more. You need a copy of the Sending and facsimile guide for this model.

Resolution Switching Board A2 and Color Universal Send Kit A2P are required to give the imageRUNNER C2620 / C3220 Universal Send functionality.

As I only have IRC3200 service & parts manual , Could you show me where are they installed in the machine.
