Canon iR600 Cassette 3 & 4

Any idea why I can't get cassette 3 & 4 to recognize anything except Statement-R paper? When I set it to anything else is says "load paper" and shows blank for both those cassettes. This is on a Canon imagerunner 600.

In service mode, go to copier>function>cst and perform the adjustments for C3STMTR, C3-A4R, C4STMTR and C4-A4R. This will re-calibrate the cassette size detection. Be certain to follow the sequence in the service manual when performing these adjustments.

we have had several issues with the cassette sensors in the back of the machines over the past 12 months as well. If the recalibration does not work then pull the back off and look at those sensor assemblies. The crack and break and cause the issues you are describing.
