Dear Expert
Recently my client bought a Canon IR C2550 and it was installed within an AD environment, with a private ip address 192.168.0.32
Right every one can access the web user interface for the printer (i.e Web Management) by typing in a browser :
http://192.168.0.32 (no window pops up asking about for a username and a password)
I tried to look for an option to enable username and password but I could not figure out where
Can someone advise me where can I find that ??
My second question
Canon technician set up Under : Additional Function > Department Management ID two accounts (department IDs) with two different passwords
One of them to copy (not print) black and white and other for copying (not printing) color document
If the password for black and white is handed to a user to make copy for a work related document that user (if he/she has knowledge) can change the setting from black and white to color ,,,,,Can I prevent that ?
Thanks
