Network Scanning = To use this function, the machine is required to be connected to a network, equipped with the Printer function, and
Network ScanGear to be installed on your computer.

Send Function = Universal Send Kit must be Activated.

Fax Function = Super G3 FAX Board or Super G3 Multi-Line FAX Board OPTION > Installed

UFR II/PCL Printer Function and TIFF/JPEG Direct Print Function = UFR II/PCL Printer Kit must be Activated

PS Printer Function and PDF/PS Direct Print Function = To use the features of the PS Printer Kit, it must be Activated > after the optional UFR II/ PCL Printer Kit has
      been Activated.

Activated= means u need to spend some money to purchase the KITS that have the LMS License

You cannot print ethernet or usb to your machine as it is disabled until you buy a license.

the PS kit will not function without UFRII/PCL kit
To use the features of the PS Printer Kit, it must be Activated > after the optional UFR II/ PCL Printer Kit has
            been Activated.

UFRII/PCL will function by itself.==========UFRII print driver is close to 2.5 times faster than either the PS or PCL drivers (hence the name Ultra Fast Rendering).

take a chance on eBay/ combo complete license kit $ 425.74 US Dollar
            seller quotes > new & unopened /

Ask Seller questions ( like where did u get all these combo kits from ) eBay now backs up all purchases )

I have never seen both the UFRII/PCL & PS Kit combined by Canon

Canon UFR II PCL PS Printer Kit S1 1355B002 AA | eBay
