    If I may ask;

    Which model are you refering too.

    IR3245 series.

    As we know theres also 3200,3220's

    Someone could get confuse as to what models can be flashed by USB.

    The IRC3200,3220 series was not one of them.

        Yes , thought it would be obvious I was not flashing 3200's with a flash drive. Yes , I was talking about IR3245 series.

          I figured that, but there are some techs who might not know as much as we know about models with this function.

          Thanks for clearing that up.

            No problem. Indecently, I have another 12 or so 3245's to do tomorrow up to Ver 42.98.....

                If the Firmware update does not address an issue on the Series of models that the customer requires, to me it's a waste of time. When we have iR's that are performing well, we do not touch them,

                One reason is because when u decide to update just because one is out there, and then the customer has issues after update, the first person they call is you or your manager to complain that MACHINE worked before update. Especially when it effects their COLOR.

                  Unless its mandatory to upgrade for an issue.

                  But If the machine works, leave it alone.

                        Thanks guys. I have a Toshiba 4 gb and a Verbatim that works. I was flashing the IRC 5051 with the FedEx system software and was having problems. Again, thanks.
