Yes, I am here to fix your machine. No, your machine went out of warranty 18 years ago.

To show on Consumables screen/ of control panel
Yes, in Service Mode level 1.

To show the Remaining Drum Life Screen, perform the following. COPIER > OPTION > BODY > DLIFE-SW > 1

      or in service mode under>

      COPIER>DISPLAY>MISC

      Y/M/C/K-DRM-LF Drum unit life (Y/M/C/Bk)
Expresses how much of life has expired (as percentage).
      Appropriate values 0 to 100 (%)
      Note
0% when new drum unit is inserted.

both %'s are a little misleading /many conditions effect drum life/ some techs leave drum in over 200%

      or
      COPIER>DISPLAY>ALARM-1

IMG-DT-Y/M/C/K - indicates the average of image ratios for copy/print jobs
indicates the average image ratio (color ratio) within the drum unit
**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

I once had 4080 do 700%, that was over 160k for one black drum. It still was darker then IR5000 next to it.

I will replace the K drum when it hits 400 even if no cq flaws. I have guys that will clean the inside of the drum unit to pad there bei, but the black is not dark enuf 4 me. And I think the machine has to work too hard for its image. They may get another month out of it. Not worth it for me. I'm just lazy that way, and I know my customer will call back and say "its not dark like it used to be". Can't win so I won't try.
