To show the Remaining Drum Life Screen, perform the following. COPIER > OPTION > BODY > DLIFE-SW > 1
or in service mode under>
COPIER>DISPLAY>MISC
Y/M/C/K-DRM-LF Drum unit life (Y/M/C/Bk)
Expresses how much of life has expired (as percentage).
Appropriate values 0 to 100 (%)
Note
0% when new drum unit is inserted.
both %'s are a little misleading /many conditions effect drum life/ some techs leave drum in over 200%

I will replace the K drum when it hits 400 even if no cq flaws. I have guys that will clean the inside of the drum unit to pad there bei, but the black is not dark enuf 4 me. And I think the machine has to work too hard for its image. They may get another month out of it. Not worth it for me. I'm just lazy that way, and I know my customer will call back and say "its not dark like it used to be". Can't win so I won't try.Yes, I am here to fix your machine.
