    error code 03130031-2F26

    Micro cracks can cause numerous problems and intermittent random error codes. Using the Flexible Flat Cable Checker (FCC Checker) would be a good idea to find out about the condition of the Flex Cable
    ++
    code can be caused by the encoder sensor on the carriage assembly or the carriage assembly not being able to move correctly. If the carriage assembly can move normally try cleaning the linear encoder sensor. If cleaning the linear encoder sensor does not resolve the error check the flex cable next. This sensor is connected through the flex cable.
    Replacing the flex cable has resolved this problem.

    Check the Carriage Assembly , it contains bronze bushings which require no lubrication. Customers must be instructed to refrain from lubricating the Carriage Rail, and to clean any dirt, grease, or oil that had accumulated. They should always install the new rail cleaner included with each new Maintenance Cartridge, whenever the Maintenance Cartridge is changed.

    Currently a new Carriage Rail Cleaner is included with each new Maintenance Cartridge. Customer may not always replace the cleaner or inadvertently discard it with the Maintenance Cartridge box
