    When you install the new drum don't forget to do the adjustment in service mode or it won't go it's full life expectancy and will fail early. Very important with this model.

    • Start Service mode. * / 2&8 / *.
    • Go to "COPIER>FUNCTION>DPC>D-GAMMA".
    • Press the OK key. The machine will pick-up paper from cassette 2. Paper size does not matter. The machine ends APVC correction by delivering a blank sheet.
    • Press the reset key twice to end service mode.

    Failure to follow the above steps will decrease the drum life.
    I didn't know that, thanks for the tip.
    Drums which I install last really long without any adjustments.

        Glad to help. If you haven't had diminished drum life without doing that adjustment...youv'e been very lucky.

          No,, nothing in service mode to run that function. The iR2016 is a fax machine that dreams of being a copier someday when it grows up....

                            you can use k---n drum but must change with cleaning blade too,primary roller also you must clean (cau use autosol or car wax)
