    IRC2620 Touch screen frozen

I replaced a smashed touch screen with a entire new panel . I was helping the customer run a saddle stitch job and we had a paper jam.Cleared the jam and the touch screen was locked up .It looked normal but the touch screen doesnt respond. The only thing that works is the conrast adj.for the touch screen. Unpluged it from the wall waited a few minutes repluged the copier the copier starts up.The canon logo comes up as well the loading bar.the panel appears normal but wiil not respond to the touchAny ideas?

Check the dimms on the main controller, check the reader cable. Many things can cause a frozen panel.

Was anything done to the machine before this happen.

Do you have a imagePass attach on the back of this machine?

Did anybody clear anything, system wise..

check for a Stuck Key/Button on control panel !!!!!!

Or Try a defrag/ power off>hold down 1&9 button while powering up>hold down until u see the white blocks dropping on LCD
