DC-CON does not always work- especially if the underside of ITB belt is dirty, or stretched- or if the primary chg. rollers & black drive roller is slick & dirty- your rail could also be misaligned. there are a few more things to consider before doing a DCON CLR- u better have that P-PRINT of latest settings.
8-10 machines is nothing/ I had over 60 between two office buildings to monitor at one time. I can fix this model blindfolded.
Everything is changed except DC Controller and new firmware.Leave a comment:

u miss-understood my example/ read that tech pub on how to adjust the cammed gear on each one/
the picture shows how to set it to Center Position- if you turn each cammed gear ONE TOOTH from Center Position, it will create a Full Fine Adjustment/
when u turn on to RE-BOOT >The Printer> it Automatically will perform Automatic Image Stabilization Control/and it Executes corrective control for image position.
then go in service mode an execute>COPIER>FUNCTION>LASER>L-ADJ-0 , hit OK !
Then you do a FULL Auto Adjustment adjustment from the glass/ i hope u know how to do that/
after all that is Finished- print out some Test Prints= PG 6 & a PG10- inspect and report back
if all works out - Print out your P PRINT SETTINGS and store them inside the front door , in that small document coverLeave a comment:

I'll try tomorrow,
You say if i rotate all laser gears by 5 teeth for example,it will be a good adjustment of lasers.
But how is possible the copier never makes an Auto Adjustment by itself?Leave a comment:

if u put the 4 laser cams each one tooth from center position, u will create a fine adjustment for all four, when u power up printer/& do a Full Auto Gradation/Leave a comment:

there is a fine adjustment u can manually make on the Laser units/ u roll each on all the way , one tooth shy on each/ put them back/ & re boot

Laser Cam Out-of-
Alignment Condition due to loose wiring on the DC Controller/System Controller or loose
interconnections (two ribbon cables) between the DC Controller and the System Controller:
To determine if the DC Controller/System Controller wiring is possibly at fault, go into Service Mode and
perform a PG Type 6 and then a PG Type 10.
To determine if the laser cam/s are at fault, go into Service Mode and perform a PG Type 6 and then a PG
Type 10.
1.Remove the 4 laser units from the machine.
2.Remove the laser cover to expose the lens.
3.Adjust the cammed gear until it is at its center position.
5.Turn on the power and once again try PG Type 6 and PG Type 10.

I printed a PG10 and after following your advice,i swapped lasers and checked the gear on the laser unit and after some tries,i centered yellow and cyan laser..Now i have to work on black and magenta laser, because black goes a little over yellow and magenta goes a little over cyan color.Tomorrow i'll show other results.
Thank you so muchLeave a comment:

Check for a stiff turning secondary external transfer roll.....seems everything else mechanical checked. Cam the lasers, etc. I've had a couple 3200's that i had to clear the main controller RAM...do your p-print,etc,back up the service counters, clear all the RAM,flash the machine with newest firmware. This is the first thing tech support will tell you to do. Eliminate the firmware/corruption possibility...only takes about 15 min for everything. Are the initial samples scans or prints? Like teckat said, not a scan issue...sub-scan issueLeave a comment:

Your gonna have to clock those lasers CMYK manually back to home position. The tech pub is floating around there some where in the forum. Normally I check for the service mode record, print out a P-print, clear DC_con> shut down> remove lasers> adjust lasers manually> install lasers back>reboot machine and leave the front door open>renter the values using the service mode record that came with the machine>shut down then close the door>reboot.
Your firmware could be corrupted as well.
DCON can be corrupted as well.
