Anyway, keeping an open mind, I did some research and found a solution for your so-much-hated-99-print-limit problem - takes no programming skills (not that you have any, for that matter).

    Enjoy!
This is not such a small problem for me because literally all my print jobs are the same page printed 1000-2000 times on average, this means I need to send 11-21 print jobs instead of one. And the reason I hate this limitation so much is that Canon intentionally put it to sabotage their own product to force people to buy more expensive models. Well what it's done with me is ensure I never buy a Canon again because HP doesn't use such repulsive marketing tricks.

About programming skills, I do sell a computer software I made which has hundreds of thousands of lines of code and have several thousand users. You're going to find this funny after what I said about canon, but years ago I did sabotage my own software and made a really crappy version to sell for less, but at least my product is $10-30, it's not like canon sabotaging an $800 machine to sell a $5000 one instead.

Just goes to prove that it takes a conman to recognize another conman. And what is that program's name, if I might ask?

Firstly this forum was a real PITA to sign up to, it literally took over 20 times refilling the registration form (as it wipes it clean if you have an error) before it accepted all my entries.
Apparently it was not tough enough...You got in.

People are attracted to this like they are atractted to car crashes - they are very much alike, also: in both there's usually victims wincing in pain and an asshole that caused everything!

Likely because some of us are toying with the lack of intellect that the OP has regarding his inability to comprehend market strategy on certain segment machines. Now its a conspiracy. What a tool he is.

That, and like mrwho clearly makes a point of, this post is indeed a crash and the OP is the moron at the center of it all. Just like my favourite video game, Civilization...just one more turn.....

It's funny how I'm the moron when I'm the only one among all of you that figured out how to print for 0.5 cents a color page and you're all thinking that paying 5-25 cents a page for laser prints makes more sense.

No, that doesn't make you a moron. As I said before, if you're happy with your setup, I'm happy for you. It's always good when someone is happy with what he's got - it's getting rarer each day.

What makes you a moron is the fact that you're making a crusade out of it, and that whole attitude of "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" is what's making everyone around here loathe you.

What are you expecting? Waiting for the whole worldwide copier industry to fall appart because of your posts? Get a grip!

                            Re: Waste toner reuse?

I have more than 10 years of toner manufacturing experience and I can tell you that despite the comments from everybody saying that the waste toner can't be reused, I just wanted to let you know that YES, it is possible to do so. It's just not practical to do it, unless you have a substantial amount in order to do it and convert this into a business. Waste toner basically is paperdust, discharge toner particles, and actual good toner. The paperdust particles are larger than toner particles which can be cleaned out. The discharge and good toner particles need a different type of equipment in order to separate them from each other. As you can see, it's not worth it to reuse waste toner. However, reusing waste toner can become a lucrative business if you have the right equipment, know how, and enough volume to convert this into good toner.

Without a doubt one of the best replies i have heard. As a printer, and a former Tech, i see printers like this come and go. They are usually from a completely unrelated industry who thinks anyone can:

                              1. Service their own gear.
                              2. Run a successful business designed to be long term.
                              3. Beat the system by cutting corners.
                              4. Charge a stupidly low price for their product in order to undercut other printers who do it correctly.

all i can say is have fun....

Any chance of a new season?
