    Banding on CLC 3220.

I have a great problem on Canon CLC 3220: a costant banding to all density....
I changed the ITB unit, the motor of ITB unit and the relative gears, I cleaned the Laser Unit, I changed the belt that move the drums..... None solution.....
    Tips ?
    Thanks....

Can u please post an example of the printout? I don't realy understand "banding". Are those in feed or cross feed direction, what color? lines or streaks. In print area or white paper background?

      Good morning....
For "banding" I intend lines perpendicular at the feed direction, dark lines, visibles in all color, and not on white sheet, with a thickness ranging from 2 and 3 mm, variable distance between them and which are repeated in the print: They are not fixed on the image....

Why don't you try PG5 single color test pages to see which color is the problem.
Since you did not mention anything about replacing drums, have you replaced drums.

"perpendicular" Banding = Crossfeed = from front of printer to back of printer !!

1.u do not see any banding on PG5 - SINGLE COLOR v/
                2. is banding on single sheet run/ multi-sheet run/full-color/ b&w/ prints and or copies/ using dadf/ ?????
what 3220 functions are in use during issue

                  Post a image.
The last thing it could be is the main controller.
I know that's ironic but it seems like covered most of everything.

OMG, I think that's our problem, I just posted a new thread here about vertical line (from back to front of the unit) here: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...ical-line.html

Our fuser is making weird noise like if it's shaking when it roll.... that mean it have a flat spot?? Can it make that kind of artifact? Can it be repaired?

And what should we do to prevent flat spot?

                    Thanks for your help

Remove fuser-check rotation of unit to look at rollers - may have a flat spot/ gear could be damaged/ bushing on end may have popped out

Yes, for "banding " I intend perpendicular lines, lines from the front of the machine (operator side) at rear of the machine.....
There are when the copier prints or copy, in black or colors....
When I stop the print operation I find the image on ITB with the problem, before the transfer action on sheet...

At soon I will show an image of the problem...
