Hi has anyone had this jam problem before, paper intermittantly will jam pre registration, the jam code displayed is 0B01 door open jam? This might not do this for days then it will happen again?

Try performing an MMI Clear in service mode.

print out your USER DATA print out/ to input any settings
NOTE: Before proceeding with MMI clear, check the following settings in Additional Functions:

* Common Settings for Registered Paper Types other than plain, change them to plain if necessary.
* Common Settings for Tray Designation output assignments. (Try changing the tray designation for fax and print to another location).
* Communications Settings for Common Settings/RX settings/Select Cassette, make sure all items are set to ON.

Never cleared MMI before, have done DC Con and MN CON, also this model does'nt have the "all data clear" function in the user mode which on other models has helped with some unusual faults. I will try this though many thanks.

At the right side door, when open, in the lower left corner, a screw will strip out of the frame causing the pressure to be off.u may have to take off the door to see it. There may be an old tech pub for it

Do you modified DOOR, RIGHT LOWER INNER and RIGHT LOWER DOOR ASSEMBLY? Do you replace ROLLER, VERTICAL PATH? For boath modification is Canon bulletin on EXTRANET. If you are Canon dealer you can acasse to EXTRANET and you see all modifications for these copier. If these copier works properly exept these problem you are lucky very lucky .

Yes it has the mod door and the newer grey vertical path rollers, this throws up the jam code 0B01 not 0107 etc, when you check it just says "door open jam" detection by software? Also i updated the firmware to version 46.01 as well.
