hopefully they have decent volume because the low volume units tend to get developer clumps in high humidity environments. With all the ITB updates in the machine though I like the unit. Good quality and with the paper path it is very reliable. Easy to work on and knock on wood not a lot of issues with parts going life on these units either.

Thanks for your input the machine will certainly be getting some use possibly 60K a month
just a bit worried about copy quality a we had an Imagepress C1 in there before and it ran like a dream copy quality never an issue colours always very accurate.
Obviously the C1 was a bit on the slow side.

plus the customer will be using mostly coated stock through the pod deck .

just hope it holds out just cant see the copy quality anything like the C1 though.

I personally like this machine with the coated stock and 60K a month is a nice volume to have on it as well. I think your customer should be happy with it. Are they running a fiery with it?

hi yes they are i think its a Fiery GX300 it looks a bit like a Q2 rip.
The customer is making brochures on them then using an offline perfect binder and trimmer.

that is a good setup and I don't see you having any issues with the quality or consistency on the machine. Especially if the customer is already in the routine of doing the auto gradations and calibrating the device. The higher end RIP with the densitometer does a wonderful job.
