[Dead] Facing difficulty while installing Inner Finisher in canon ir 2525

    Hi,
kindly can anyone guide me, how to install Inner finisher B1 in Canon IR 2525.because along with the finisher B1, i had installed inner 2way unit B1 & optional power supply unit U1,after installing these accossories, if i turn ON the machine, photocopier & dadf gets initialised but finisher B1 it's in dead condition, but m/c comes to ready mode, If i try to give photocopy then it's showing paper jam in finisher & right side door on the display.(sometimes it's showing code E567)

can you please guide me that if there is any additional accessories to be installed or any settings to make the finisher enable.

E567 is usually a shift motor error. I have not had this issue for this model yet but it could be the motor M5 or the PCB. I would pull the finisher back out and verify that everything is moving properly as something could be locked up causing your error.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          That's all you need..

There's a couple of thick 'power' wires that plug into the optional power supply at the top of the board. From what I remember the install instructions are a bit vague as to what wires to plug in

            Problem installing inner finisher -B1

Hi, thanks to all in advance, I came across this thread a bit late while I was looking for a clue to a similar problem about installing the inner finisher -B1 in a new m/c model 2530. The technicians from the company that sold the m/c have failed to install the finisher, claiming that it can't enter into the machine's main body/unit.
Worse still the same company claims that these copier models 2530 have all been found with factory defects and therefore recalled by canon, and is now discontinued!
I personally still doubt these claims since I haven't yet come across any technical publications from canon to that effect, or may be I am behind news? I do know that these machines were launched into the market early last year (march/April 2010). I am yet to look at this copier if the supplier can agree with the customer about my service.
Meanwhile I would be grateful to u all members there who have some experience and latest info about these copier/finisher to share with us. Dear gvd, did u eventually solve the installation problems?
