Can I print on 110lbs paper if the highest weight setting in paper types is 80 lbs?

I'd like to laser print on 110 lbs card stock but the heaviest weight in my copier's (MF8350Cdn) settings is 80 lbs. Is there any risk of damaging the machine if I use 110 lbs paper in the multi-purpose tray? My inkjet can handle 110 lbs but I'd really prefer to have this job laser printed if I can do it without breaking my laser copier.

    Thanks

What a coincidence, we are actually renovating and have several ceramic tile samples. Unfortunately the smallest is 12" long so it won't fit.

Do we have to commend you for using inkjet printing? I'll hazard a serious answer if you can manage a few posts without bragging or praise for your financial prowess, or your fanciful modified inkjet printer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Firstly, "cardstock" is not a technical designation of any specific type of paper.

            110# Bond is ~400 grams/meter2
            110# Offset is 165.55 g/m2
            110# Cover is 308 g/m2
            110# Tag is 176.83 g/m2
            110# Index is 199.41 g/m2

So before we even commence this discussion we need to know 110# what?

The Staples website gives practically no details, I'll have to see the package at the store and see if it says more:

So, he's not only cheap when aquiring equipment, he's also cheap when buying supplies.

                    I'm not surprised.

How am I cheap when buying supplies? I asked if this paper would work in my laser copier, what's cheap about that? Or are you referring to the paper I posted? I don't know any other place that sells 110lbs paper if that's what you mean and I only need a few sheets of it anyway.

By the way, shouldn't the lbs of the paper be relative to the g/m2? How can you have different papers with the same lbs rating but different g/m2 ratings? Isn't that like saying a 150 lbs person could weigh 50kg, 75kg or 100 kg?
