    [Dead] add drum message

    I have a tech working on a irc 3480-message to replace drum unit. One day later the same message appears for the same colour "k" even though it was replaced. I'm unavailable to go to this account and wass hoping for a tip to pass along. I suppose the controller could be bad, but would like to eliminate any other physical cause for this as well.

      Have you tried updating the firmware
      Try going to v94.01
      I have had a message on a iRC3380 for the same, and updating the firmware cured it

          Replace the ITB assembly...this is common on these machines when the ITB gets old. And of course latest firmware. This problem is addressed in the newer firmware versions. If that don't fix it,ITB.
