Can I retrieve a copied document on a Canon 5070?

I have a client who needs to retrieve a document from their i/R-5070 that was copied yesterday. They don't use the document server feature and they don't even have the unit connected to a network.

Is this possible and, if so, how would one go about it?

    Thanks!!

How big was the document? If it was big enough to fill all the ram, it will be stored on the harddisk also. U can remove the disk and scan for image files and try to reprint them.

No. It is impossible - period.

I don't think it was big enough to fill the ram.

No...it was just a "regular" copy. Apparently, there is a dispute and the client needs the copy to prove his case, but failed to actually save a hard copy before giving the original back to the other party.

Its stored on the hard drive. But your getting it unless you have proper software.

I think he's out of luck. I agree that it was stored on the hard drive but what software could be used to retrieve it Screwtape? I'm unaware of any software or utility that might be used to do this.

I thought this topic was covered (seemingly endlessly) a few months ago with all the uproar about HDD security.
