Canon IRC 3200 E0000404-000

I was having paper jam issues with the ADF on Canon IRC 3200. Replaced it with a different ADF unit. After replacing it, I am now having E0000404-000 error code comming up. I have tried sens-intial in serivce mode still have same problem. Can some one shed some light!!!

your flat ribbon cable is pinched or the controller is blown on it

The 3200 uses a K1 document feeder. Make sure you didn't install a B1 feeder from an IR400. Looks identical but won't work. Other wise you have a face down delivery sensor/motor problem. Check the encoder disc also
