        If you have lost your papers with license key and your machine is still working like it should, you can see the key with a command like
        Code:
        cat /etc/key_data
        or
        Code:
        more /etc/key_data
        typed into the command prompt of the Sun workstation.
        Then you can write it out somewhere. If you are familiar with Unix systems, you can copy that file somewhere to have a backup of the key.

            That's good information to know though canoneer.

            I'm guessing it should work whether it's a canon, kodak, or heidelberg version? I think they all use the sun servers...
