    Canon NP 6551

    The LCD display of our machine turns dark,cannot read the messages..messages are very faint...have cleaned the connector,the ribbon wire..resolder connections..still same problem..even turning the display control clockwise and counterclockwise does not help...can i ask for any suggestions??THANKS..

      hi,what about replacing the power supply for the lcd panel.

        Sounds like you have power but no backlight. If you use a repair service like Nationwide, it may be cheaper to just get an entire panel. I had the same problem a few months back. Panel fixed it.

          Turn VR 911 to desired brightness located under control panel.
          **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

            teckat there are two VRs located under the control panel,VR1 VR2 respectively...and these VRs are located in pcb FG5-5202..but not the VR 911 as you have mentioned..
