[Error Code] Canon iR Advance C2020i

    Hi,
I have a problem with a Canon iR ADV c2020i by the error code E009.
E009 in the technical manual explains how to break the sensor by loosening the fixing film pressure, the problem is that the error only when the machine is idle is turned back on if and only if it has printed the first press and not by anything the machine is brand new.
Tests have already been made applicable: DC-CON reset, reset connectors, exchange sensor and released fixing assembly!
It's happened to someone? help me

I have already removed the assembly and replaced with a new one but there is always the same error.

Since it is related to 1st copy out, can you try disabling flying start?
        (L2)Copier-> Option-> IMG-FIX-> Flying 0=enable 1=disable

Another thing to check with a new copier is the door interlock. Maybe the fuser pressure release isn't fully engaging with the door closed? Try adjusting the right door so it closes as smooth as possible.

Did you find out what the error code was caused by?
I have a printer with the same error code E009.

It rattles in the printer every morning they start it,
some mornings the error code came and sometimes
after their lunch break and they need to restart the
            printer.

Replacing the fixing unit (FM4-6227-000), resolves the issue.

Replacing the fuser film; are there any official Canon instructions? I went on a Canon course and they insisted that the entire fuser is a consumable part, even after me arguing, insisting they did not budge on their stance?

I've already tried replacing fixing unit FM4-6228 (Sweden 230 V)
and more with no results, and have ordered fixing drive assy FM0-1158.
for the next action to resolve the error.

But maybe it's a voltage problem in the house where the printer is,
as I have experienced before with weird printer errors (ir2200/ir2800/ir3300).

Check for bad ground, eeversed hot/neutral. You can get this little yellow doodad that you plug in and has led's lighting up informing you if the wiring is fine. If it is then what else do they have running on the circuit? Any .5 amp motor on the same circuit will cause the machines to do weird things, such as morning sickness. as the fuser is controlled mostly by dcon have you tried a dcon clear yet for shits and giggles?

Dcon clear is done and we'll check for bad ground,
while we wait for the ordered fixing drive assy.
