Probably the fuser assembly has flat spots on it casuing the issue. Like skynet said you should hear a noise coming from the right hand door if this is the case. Running a sample on 11x17 sheet should give you a better a view if the line is occuring multiple times across the page.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Print a PG-10 test and you can exactly figure out what is wrong.Use A3 or larger paper.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

A white line is definitely fixing assy.Other issue is probably ITB cleaner.

cleaner issues go across the page not op to non-op like the line on the sample and would not give a blurred image.

Seems like attached or old toner on the transfer belt.

that line is typical of a fuser with flat spots on this wonderful unit. Canon has taken several good years off my life with this model.

Well guys, thank you all for your replies.

The ITB Unit was replaced some days ago, because of toner on the printouts.
When I replaced it, I saw the problem I described about.

I think the Fuser Unit is a good idea. Have just found an old ir3100 with the same problem. I looked at the fuser and saw the flat point.

So thank you everybody for your support.
