hi,i had to send it away for repair before i smashed it up with a very large sledge hammer,the cass ped was in the workshop and i was the third engineer to look at it,the repair company said i was missing a loop back wire from a connector that plugged into the cass ped controller.no wonder i could not work it out,so i think one of the engineers pulled it out of the connector and not said anything,thanks a lot for everyones ideas.
