Having trouble on canon mf 5750 after I changed the fuser assembly

After I changed my canon mf 5750's fuser assembly, I tried printing from it but it doesn't print. I've checked every connection and have put everything in place but no luck. What do I need to do to make it work again? Thank you

Yes I've tried the "all clear" but still no luck. I have also checked the ribbons and everything seems in placed. This is frustrating. Thank you for the replies and if you could suggest the things that I might do will be very much appreciated

        Thank you for doing this

However when you say "it doesn't print" i'm guessing you mean that it copies OK but wont print via a PC? is this USB & LAN that don't work?
I tried scanning to the pc and it worked fine but the printing (both form pc and photocopying) doesn't work

Nothing. When I press "Start" it just beeped like when you press a button beep and no response whatsoever from the machine

Can you show me a placement picture of the gears? I might have placed them wrongly. Thank you

I think I have found what the problem was. It's the thin ribbon coming from the top part assembly of the machine where it attaches to if I recall correctly J502, located just below where the wires from the fuser assembly is attached to, was partly disconnected. I reattached it snugly but when I tried to start the machine, there was an "INSTALL CARTRIDGE" flashing on the display even when the cartridge is already installed. I tried the "clear all" option but nothing happened. Mr. Marc Lucas you are my only hope in solving this problem. Thank you

There is a firmware upgrade for the ""INSTALL CARTRIDGE" fault this is a common problem on this model, but also check there are no small pieces of paper near the pick up roller as the toner sensor is mounted on that roller shaft & jammed paper stops it from sitting correctly.
I'll look for firmware upgrade on the net and see what happens. Thank you for your help sir

Hey, did you have a service manual to replace the fuser assembly? I have been unable to find one out on the internet. How many hours did you spend to replace it?

Go back over what you did
It is obvious that you missed or screwed something up
Its called being a technician and figuring out what you messed up. If the machine goes ready then its obviously not the fixing unit and if it worked before you took it apart then you didn't put it back together right
                          So break out a manual
read the information and find out what you did
                          plain and simple

or call a technician who knows what to do
