    Platen Glass Dirty IR8500

    Copier says Platen Glass is Dirty. Cleaned all optics still says it after scanning

        I had a similar problem nothing worked so I changed the following, do the first one test if didnt work do the second

        COPIER>OPTION>USER>SPECK-DP to 0 to disable the warning for the result of dust detection for stream reading.
        COPIER>OPTION>BODY>DF-BLINE TO 1 to turn off dust detection mechanism for stream reading
        Some people may say I have a short temper, but I prefer to call it
        "A swift and assertive reaction to bullshit"
