Never seen a missing COPY TAB
if u have this setting-Check in Service Mode that UI-Copy is set to 1.
    ( Copier>Option>Body> UI-Copy )

U just can't pop a Main Controller in.
there are steps u need to follow before & after

U may need to do a Clear>MN-CON>then press OK
but P PRINT settings need to be re input/also address book settings need to be put back in

    Do u have a P Print with settings ?

Service Label [2] for the Main Controller PCB/DC controller PCB (behind the front cover unit of the printer unit)

Press the [Additional Functions] button, then select [Copy Settings] > [Standard Key Settings for Express Copy Screen]

    (Additional Functions) [Common Settings].
    Press [Initial Function].
    (Additional Functions)[Common Settings]
    [Settings for Function Order].

Have you done the MN-CON clear? or tried an MMI clear?

I'm with teckat and have never seen the copy option tab removed. I take it that you didn't see anything on the p-print missing against what you service currently has now?

initialize all data settings might restore those functions as well. Where did you get the main controller at to put in to your machine?

you are having more issues with this one that just dont make any sense at all.
I would double check all the connectors that are going to the main controller and make sure they are seated correctly and you aren't missing one. Specifically the ribbon cable that goes from the Reader controller to the main controller.
