there isn't one in service mode. You have to swing out the main controller cage and use the wrench in the back to open them up. See the attached file for instructions. You can also just pull off the front silver cover that sits just above the hopper doors and you will see little arms on each hopper. Just move them towards the front and the hopper door will open. If you have the internal finisher installed you will have to remove those front covers to gain access to them.

i searched through the service manual and asked a couple of my techs to verify and none of us can remember a service mode to open the doors. If I find anything I will post back.

          this might work for you.

          COPIER>OPTION>DSPLY-SW> T-CRG-SW. Set T-CRG-SW to a 1

this puts an option here SETTINGS AND REGISTRATION> ADJUSTMENTS/MAINTENANCE> MAINTENANCE> REPLACE SPECIFIED TONER
so you can open the toner door without using the wrench.

In Service Mode Level 2 make the following change. COPIER>OPTION>DSPLY-SW> T-CRG-SW. Set T-CRG-SW to a 1.

Exit Service Mode and perform the following:

In User Mode, enter SETTINGS AND REGISTRATION> ADJUSTMENTS/MAINTENANCE> MAINTENANCE> REPLACE SPECIFIED TONER.

                ADD ON TO CHARM5496-reply
Physically open the outer toner cover. From the drop down menu, select replacement not needed, then select which toner doors you want to open. The Blue remove toner cartridge button on the bottom of the screen will now become active.
After pressing the blue button, a message will appear; "the selected toner can still be used do you want to replace it? At this point, select YES. The toner doors will open at this time.
