    IR2016 Image faulty

    Hi Everyone!
I've got a problem with an IR2016. it has the following problem:
when copy from the ADF it makes a line on the paper ( eventhough the copied image is on the paper with good quality), not every copies , sometimes it does this faulty sometimes it doesn't, and usually this fault happens when my costumer wants to copy several pages, with one page it doesn't happen.
It does it also the same when it is on the copyboard,
The asset prints without mistake, so I guess I should look after when it scans or copy.
The drum was replaced for 1 month.
    Strange!
Thank you in advance for your help!
    Best regards,
    Norbert

Changed only the drum? What about the cleaning blade? Possibility of impurities in the cleaner assembly. Is it thin sharp line(s)? post a copy for us to see if possible.

I have had a lot of comments from customers , and have seen the fine lines that start and stop at different areas running left to right thru the copies. Since it is happening on the platen too, that may eliminate the slit glass, which cause the most concerns. I have seen it on ir3570 and 3025 at times . We are assuming all is clean and vacuumed when able. Send a sample.

That is true sir, when u change the DRUM UNIT as a whole. But the equivalent also exists, as a DRUM KIT, i.e DRUM & BLADE as separate components, in one pack and one can replace either, depending on level of damage on which component e.g suppose u scratch a drum when u r on a PM and blade still good. In fact, there is even drum cylinder & c/blade on our market here as totally separate components.

i am facing the problem with my ir2016i..by using the adf, the output is fine..but when i make a copies by using glass, the output will be printed exceed of left right margin (larger). But top and bottom margin is fine..its look like the magnification problem...but its just happen to left right which my output image is bigger (stretch to left) and out of range if compared with original copy.. so i am trying to adjust the margin by press * 28* ..then select scan numeric..and adjust horizontal scan start position (32) but ist not working..i am also found that this machine just have vertical scan magnification correction (33)...but its dont have horizontal scan magnification correction..so anybody can help me to solve this problem..

Remove & re-seat Ribbon Cable to the CIS unit
Run the CIS adjustment in service mode test mode>scan>1,3, and 4.

In service mode SCAN numeric #24 set the value to 350 or lower
