Did you change just the drum? The charge roller and blade needs replaced with a drum too.

Check the developer bias tab. Make sure it isn't coated with black grease or bent.

Simply replace the drum cartridge with a new cartridge is the easiest way to resolve your issue. Pieces parts approach takes more time, and time is money. Also, there is a warranty on new drums, whereas if you take the individual parts approach, establishing warranty on those items would require swapping out all the individual parts, drum-charge roller-blade, to honor an after market drum warranty...

Just my Saturday's two cents worth... ;-)

By "cartridge", are you referring to the entire drum assembly, as in an out of the box from Canon drum assembly, or are you referring to a drum cylinder? And if you have replaced the entire drum assembly, why would you be putting a charge roller in it?

Just trying to stay on the same page with what has already been tried...
