    IR3300 waste toner full message

Usually I Get the E0019 code and upon cleaning the window of the waste container it goes away. I was just at this account two weeks ago and the customer is complaining about the "Empty The Waste toner" message already. Does the window on the waste toner bottle become discolored over time and need to be replaced? I have seen some machines where techs have drilled out the window on the bottle. Does the waste toner sensor S-2 go bad very often? Thank you for any input.

I've seen some techs drill out the hole as well, but IMHO that makes it worse since usually just cleaning the sensors takes care of the problem.

You need to push the black guide back in the machine as if the bottle is in to really see the sensors. Then there are 2 little bulbs that need dusted off, one sending light and one receiving it. They must be very sensitive since the slightest amount of toner will set them off.

pull out the waste toner bottle and clean the neck of the bottle and restore it back.
