Canon IR-2020 jamming

    [Jamming] Canon IR-2020 jamming

    Help required,

    i have a ir2020 that jams on exit with only about an inch of paper left in the exit rollers, i have changed the exit sensor thinking this will sort it and it did for about 20 copies then the problem re-occured. any ideas out there as i am not canon trained.

        U GO IN SERVICE MODE> TO VIEW
        1) Enter service mode.
        Press the operation panel user mode key, 2 key, 8 key and user mode key in this order.
        Service Report (REPORT)
        Report Output
        >ERROR LOG LIST Jam and error history output

          need also to read the service manual if u want to be a good tech... suggestion only

            thanks for the info on getting jam codes. i will post when i get to the customers.

            Also if i had a manual i would read it ! lol
