    iRC3220 scanning problem

my iRC3220 machine on field had problem when using an adf. it only can read 2 pieces of paper only, when the 3rd paper is loaded into the adf, the paper will jam. i had try it so many times but it goes the same. but when i used a4r on the adf, the paper will just go fine. is it i have to initialize the sensor in svc mode?

1 more thing, the margin is getting too far. i try to adjust the margin but still goes the same.

anybody knows how to solve this? thanks in advance...

    SERVICE MODE

    FEEDER>ADJUST>DOCST

    • Increasing the value makes the leading edge blank smaller.
    Adjustment –100 to 100 (0.337 mm units)
    Operation
    1) Place the document on the ADF document tray.
    2) Select the item, use the numeric keypad to change the setting value, then
press the OK key to set it.
    3) Press the OK key again to deliver the document and stop it (aligned left)
    on the platen glass.
    4) Open the ADF carefully, and check the stop position of the document.
    Standard: Stop position L4
L4: =Distance from vertical size plate edge to document edge

    Dip-switch functions
The dip-switch (DSW1) functions of the ADF controller PCB are as follows.
Normal settings Normal operation status is when all bits are OFF.
    Document tray adjustmentset all bits
    back to OFF

    Sensor level adjustment (sensitivity adjustment)
This adjustment is to be carried out when replacing the ADF controller board, document set sensor (U503), final document detection sensor (U504), pre-registration sensor (U502), reverse outlet sensor (U505).
    1) Stick an all black piece of paper over the final document detection sensor on the document tray.
Make sure the black paper is not over the document set sensor.
    2) Close the ADF and enter service mode FEEDER > FUNCTION > SENS-INT.
    3) Press ‘OK’.
About 15 seconds later, the document detection LED will flash twice, the display will change from SERVICE to READY. This means that the automatic adjustment is completed.
