    Hello, is one able to rebuild a fixing assembly or do you have to replace the whole unit?

    U purchase a refurbed/rebuilt one or Purchase a new one ?
    we used to re-build them in the field/ but we now use Canon's return program\

        you now buy the entire unit/ Refurbish or New
        You don't play around> other parts, like the two small gear units also wear down on gear teeth


        it was no picnic replacing that upper part, only to discover that gears were and issue also
