effect of heavy paper on canon 4570

    hi frnds
i have a canon 4570. i am using thick density paper ie. 105gsm instead of 75gsm which is normally used. i want to know if this paper will affect my machine in any way? plz tell me. i am using this paper bcoz i am got it at the same price that of 75gsm.

also that my prints are faded in the upper portion of A4 page. should i change my drum or anything else may be?

As Teckat pointed out, that weight would really not be supported from the cassettes, but you can run what you like in your machine. What comes to mind to me is increased wear in the feed rollers as well as fuser wear.

Should go without saying but - make sure you set the paper type and only use the bypass.
