    Differences ir5055 and ir5070

Are all parts interchangeable? Is this essentially the same machine just different speed?
I noticed sep rollers @ feeder have just sponge surface vs. 5070 has plastic sleeve over sponge.

Same machine, same problems, different parts. ADF Rollers/pads are same, Toner is different, PCB's are different, software is different, Deck Rollers are different but can be interchanged, Lower Fixing Roller is different but interchanable, entire Upper Fixing Assy. is different but can interchange it in a pinch, Upper Fixing Roller and Gear would have to be swapped as a pair since they are both different. For most part really no noticable speed difference. However, if you are interested in purchasing one to replace your IR 5570 consider that your user training will be easy, and it will be a newer machine.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
        but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
        B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)
