    [Misc] Changing Drum in Canon IR5000

    Can someone briefly explain how to change drum in canon IR5000?

    Briefly ... OK.
    It's been a number of years. This is what I remember:

    Remove toner hopper.
    Remove developing unit through right side door.
    Remove drum shaft retainer screw and retainer.
    Pull out transport drawer. Lay some white paper on it.
    Carefully slide out drum drawer.

    Be extremely careful with that drum. It'll take two paychecks, maybe three to pay for a replacement if you scratch it. If you aren't a professional I advise against doing this yourself. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        I agree with this
        and learn with tech, sometime I use Camera/VCR
        for reference next time I need to do by yself
