OK, thanx, but what to do, when I unplug the buffer - where can I set it, that the buffer is unpluged (in service mode)?

        You can't disable.

U would need to remove, and put back all removed on Buffer install.

Sorry, but I don`t understand good.

Now the copier is only with buffer - no any finishers is added to the machine, only buffer is there (standalone).

When I remove the buffer, it is not chance to disable it in machine? The buffer must be installed in machine, however there is no finisher?

            Buffer Pass Unit-E2
The Buffer Pass Unit-E2 is required to attach the
Finisher-Y1 or Saddle Finisher-Y2 to the main unit.

need to re-install the standard output tray in it's place/

              Yes I understand, thank you.

But there is one fault: the customer has only Buffer Pass Unit-E2.

No finishers and no STANDARD output tray, which can be reinstalled.

But I think, under the Buffer Pass Unit-E2 is a standard output tray installed - yes or no???

When yes, how can I disable the Buffer Pass Unit-E2 in service mode, because, when I unpluged the Buffer Pass Unit-E2 it becomes the error message in display!

Buffer Pass Unit-E2 is used (For Finisher-Y1/2)

When person who installed this buffer unit E2 over the standard delivery tray (as per instructions) >they had to remove the paper full sensor flag unit for delivery tray 1 (that is the lower flag unit ) as u look in you should see (one) the upper flag unit used for delivery tray 2.

when u remove buffer unit E2 --- and unplug it's rear connector >>>

u will need to put back or replace that paper full sensor flag unit for delivery tray 1

not sure which flag unit needed /

did u check if the Optional Power Supply-R1 was install (as per the install instructions )

                if so-- remove it

Re: canon IRC3380i, remove paper from output tray.....Help!!!

                  Very well! I understand!

Sensor flag unit 1 is missing, because there is Buffer Pass Unit-E2.
When I want to give copier to the original (standard) output tray I must detaching Buffer Pass Unit-E2 and Optional Power Supply and buy sensor flag unit 1 (or put black tape to the sensor PS15 - sensor where come sensor flag unit 1.

But the customer told me, that all was working perfect, but in one moment it make the message: remove paper from output tray (when he want to make copies).

It is possible, that customer was able to print with this Buffer Pass Unit-E2 or the customer is liar (sorry for the word liar)?

not sure about printing // why would u put in a buffer unit without finisher y1/y2 ??????

but check that flag position/ have see it knocked out of position

check that Buffer Outlet Sensor and Buffer Pass Inlet Sensor

what are jam codes in history ????????????

Hello, I must go there and check it. The customer has this machine and I go there for service, I was not the seller. I don`t know why he has no finisher. I don`t know the history of this copier. Maybe the second hand buy???

The sensor flag unit 1 is missing, I check the sensor, put to the sensor the black tape, detach the Buffer Pass Unit-E2 and detach the Optional Power Supply and I think it could be working.

Many thanx for puzzle out this Canon accessories
