    Canon C5180 laser adjustment

copies have C background with correct laser settings in machine.Different laser works ok.On older CLC copiers the lasers levels could be adjusted. As I was about to throw the laser assembly in the garbage,I noticed 8 potentiometers on the laser pwb.Has anyone tried adjusting one of these?

They can not be adjusted in the field for background issues.

U can adjust the Cam position on each for image offset issues.

Image offset Laser issues can also be adjusted in service mode.
    COPIER>FUNCTION>LASER
LD-ADJ-Y/M/C Making the tilt correction motor return to the initial position automatically. in Level-2

u can swap them to isolate an issue with a different color/ but u need to put in settings for the swapped color
    .
