[Error Code] canon IR600

Hello everybody, I have a canon IR600 and showing error code "E100" and would ask me to turn off the power and put it back on, one I do that the copier would work for few minutes and the same code will comes back, but some this week I was doing the wire cleaning, just before it finished another error came up "E060" and the machine is not working well at all, can anyone help me out please.

Usually Error E100 can be Laser Unit. In most cases is the Laser Unit, sometimes Door Switch is the cause of E100 to. If I wear you, before unmount the laser unit I would see the switch door first, unmount it, clear and check the contacts. Error E060 is primary corona, replace wires and clean it. If code appears again replace the corona.

The spring for the laser shutter actuating arm can become dislodged. Reattach the spring for laser shutter actuating arm and realign the laser shutter actuating arm with the laser shutter.

If Drum unit if it has reached the end of its expected life. You may also want to check for a broken tab on the drum assembly where it fits into the laser shutter actuator inside the machine.

E100 Error code
There is a TAB on the rear side of the Drum Unit which is used to open the Laser Shutter Unit. If this TAB gets broken, the Laser Shutter will not open and cause a E100

Check the position of the laser shutter arm (Figure 1). The arm is activated by the drum tab through the slot (Figure 2) which pivots the arm and pushes the shutter open. Make sure the arm is seated properly on the frame.

Possible causes
The wiring is faulty (short circuit, open circuit) at the BD signal. The laser scanner unit is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. The drum unit is not installed or has a broken laser shutter actuator.

1) Drum unit is installed in host machine and laser shutter tab is not broken? NO:Install the drum unit.The Sales Item number for the drum is 6837A004AA
2) Connection, Is the connection of the connector (J908) on the BD detection PCB, connector (J907) of the laser unit, and connector (J102) on the DC controller PCB normal? NO:Correct the connection and reseat.
3) Laser/scanner unit, DC controller PCB. Try replacing the laser/scanner unit. Is the fault corrected? YES : End.
NO : Replace the DC controller PCB.

Performed an "All" clear if still happens

Enter service mode by pressing the Additional function key and then the ID (#) key. Next scroll to #12 Clear and press the OK key, scroll to "All" and press the OK key again.

Check the operation of the Front Door Mount Assembly. The Absorption lever (item 3) may stick on the Crank lever (item 5) which assist in opening the laser shutter.

How old is the DRUM ???
Does the E100 code occur when Potential Control is disabled ???

If not>
Replace the Potential Measuring PCB Assembly (FG6-2228-000).
To disable Potential Control enter Service Mode COPIER>OPTION>BODY>PO-CONT set to 0 and cycle the main power switch.
Check the following service mode for the proper values to ensure that potential control is functioning properly:
- COPIER>DISPLAY>DPOT>VL1M. The settings may be between 62 - 82.
-VDM will be between 432 - 452, which are normal readings.
