    IR 5055 with Error E000000-0010

I have a Canon IR5055 with an error E000000-0010. What does that code reference to?

    Code

    Description

    Remedy

    E000

    The heater fails to heat.
After correcting the fault, be sure to reset the error. (COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR)

    0000

After power-on, the reading of the main thermistor does not increase to 70 deg C or higher within 20 sec.

    - Replace the main/shutter thermistor.
    - Replace the DC controller PCB.

    0010

The power has been turned off and then on without resetting the error.

    - Reset the error. (COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR)

    Hope it will help you.

      1. In service mode > COPIER > DISPLAY > ANALOG, check
the temperature displayed next to the following items:

      - FIX-U

      - FIX-UE

      - FIX-SHTR.

With the fixing feeder assembly pulled out, make sure that the
      temperatures are as follows:

      - FIX-U: 20 deg. C

      - FIX-UE: 8 deg. C

      - FIX-SHTR: 8 deg. C
      If any of them is
230 deg. C or higher, the main body may have
      a defective part (D-CON, cable, etc);
To put it the other way
around, it is unlikely that the upper fixing unit is faulty.
Note: It’s relatively rare but a fault in the upper fixing unit causes
the DC controller to go out of order.
      2. With the fixing feeder assembly set, check the temperature of
the following item in service mode > COPIER > DISPLAY > ANALOG,

      [FIX-U, FIX-UE, and FIX-SHTR]

If any of them is 230 deg. C or more (*), a short-circuit may occur with
the corresponding thermistor / fixing feeder cable.

      * If the fixing assembly has cooled completely, the temperature will be
same as the room temperature. If the measurement is performed
right after the assembly is heated, the temperature will become 50
      to 200 deg C.

      3.
If the temperatures do not change even though the fixing feeder assembly
is pulled out and then inserted again, the following are conceivable:

      - The thermistor has an open-circuit.

      - The fixing feeder assembly cable is broken.

      - The DC controller is faulty.

          - A cable of the main body is broken.

Usually CLEAR-DCON help for this issue but first check thermistors counter (DRBL-1)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
A picture is worth a thousand words
