sometimes putting shims in the rear of the connector on unit #1 will help with this issue.
The only thing else you need to check for is your wall outlet voltage to make sure that it does not have a lot of noise on it. These machines need clean electical service.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

If you replaced both thermistors and the fuser rollers are okay, (mainly the lower roller because the bearings wear out) You will need to replace the DC controller. This is very common with this series.

We use high temp locke tight on the lower fuser roller bearings, works great. I don't know if this a common practice, but it works.

this is what charm5496 talks about/see pic

Shimming the fixing/feed frame connections resolves this issue. This can be achieved by adding a small washer between the frame and the connector at the FOUR points indicated in the accompanying picture.

I used to try the Locktite on the lower roller shafts, but have had better luck peening the shaft ends in 3 places, 120 degrees apart, with a center punch, then driving the bearings on the shaft using the old bearing to smack them on. Works great!
