could someone tell me what I have to do to setup send or scan to a sepicific hard drive and folder with a IR C3220-C1 with universal send. I have installed scan gear and does find machine.

You must specify the destination (such as an e-mail address, I-fax address, or file
server address) in order to send documents. If you store addresses in the Address
Book, you can easily select them. Addresses are stored in Address Book Settings

The ScanGear Tool cannot be started at the same time as the Network ScanGear driver.

I think you would want to use Universal Send SMB scanning. Press the Send tab on the display, choose file then change protocol from FTP to SMB and press the browse button to see domains or workgroups available. The method you mentioned is "pull scanning" vs "push scanning" There are instructions out there do set it up.Comment

you must set up a shared folder on the workstation you want to scan to then browse using smb on isend to that workstation log in with your normal user name and password and browse to shared folder to set up path.Comment
